At TCPL, we do not have 100 million years of evolution on our side, so we substituted our packaging unit with the best technology possible.

We currently offer two gravure machines ; one 8 colour machine equipped with an in-line flat bed die cutter and UV coater and the other, a 10 colour machine with a rotary die cutter. Consequently, we are capable of handling short/long runs in the best possible manner.

Besides the gravure presses, we also have offset machines which can combine printing with the gravure presses to make the entire system extremely versatile.

On our offset presses installed at both Silvassa and Haridwar plant, we can print on non absorbent services with UV inks.

The new offset press installed at Silvassa supplied by MAN Roland, Germany is equipped to print on plastic substrates with UV interdeck drier.

TCPL's printing machines are backed by other latest generation machines.

Punching Machines

The latest generation Spanthera die cutter which made its debut at Drupa 2005 has been installed at TCPL's plant at Silvassa. The unique feature of this machine is that it has a register control mechanism in the side lay thereby ensuring perfect registration between print and die-cutting. Besides this machine we employ a number of Bobst die cutters at both our plants.

At Silvassa, the latest generation Speria die-cutter has also been installed which is equipped with a special feature to die-cut plastic cartons.

Folding and Gluing Machines

TCPL has multi-line folding and gluing machines, which can handle a wide range of carton sizes for folding and gluing. The BOBST Media 100 II is a very high speed machine having crash lock bottom device.

The Fuego 80 A-2 which made its debut at Drupa 2005 has been installed recently. This machine is completely computer controlled thereby ensuring faster make ready time. It can also glue 4/6 corner cartons besides straight line and lock bottom cartons. Amongst the other machines, the Amazon 70 also from Bobst is a very high speed machine designed for straight line and lock bottom cartons.

The Mistral Gluer installed at Silvassa factory, recently has the capability to undertake gluing of “E” & “F” flute cartons as it is equipped with a special feature for gluing of corrugated substrates.

It is also equipped with a plastic device for gluing of plastic cartons.

Guillotine Machine

The high-speed PERFECTA 115-UC Guillotine machine from Germany is automatic and computer controlled. Its maximum cutting width is 1150 mm and maximum feed height is 165 mm.

Window Pasting cum Liner Machine

Imported from Heiber+SchrÖder Germany, only of its kind available in India wherein the film is notched and creased in-line at the time of application of the window. It is capable to notch 30 to 300 micron film for window application on paper or cardboard of 220 to 600 gsm & on corrugated cartons up to 5 mm thickness. These systems are installed at both our plants, besides also a liner attachment enabling the production of lined cartons.

UV and Water-based Coating Machine

An offline UV/Varnishing machine equipped to apply controlled grammages of UV varnish in spot (registered) or solid coverage. It is also equipped to apply an extra coat of water based varnish for higher gloss or even blister coating medium.

Printing on the Reverse

Both our gravure machines are equipped to do printing on the reverse side of surface with register.This capability allows you the flexibility of having different coating print applied on the reverse, going a long way in enhancing the value of your work.

Faster Delivery with in-line operations

Our gravure machines are equipped for in-line operations where, apart from multicolor printing and varnishing, cutting, creasing and embossing operations are carried out in one single operation. This advanced feature enables us to achieve an extremely high production output, which translates into faster delivery schedules, and time saved, is of course money earned.
